"Just take action, it doesn't need to perfect. Just start."

I see quotes like this all the time, maybe you do too.

I find it hard to follow the advice. I sat with this webpage draft for ages. The text wasn't right. Not perfect. The tone needed tweaking. It had to appeal to everyone. All of the things that I see on other pages - all the functionality, all the popups, all the animations.... they all needed to be there. The services needed to be more polished, more thorough. People needed to see exactly what they were going to get. And how much it was going to cost.

How could I publish a website when I hadn't perfectly managed to translate all of the things that I do on a day-to-day basis, all of the things that I now know, into a flow of words that could be understood completely and give rise to a sense of connection with everyone that read it.

Well, I couldn't.

Then I realised that of course I could.

Turns out that I could make the website go live. Just as you could ask for help. Or you could take action on the bits of information that you already have that could improve your life. That little extra bit of movement. A walk at lunchtime. A trip to the supermarket to buy some vegetables - they might even be prepared for you already (got to work with your schedule!). You know that these little things are right. Adding them in may not give you your idea of a perfect healthy lifestyle but it may be better than how things are now. A small change, forming a habit that can be layered onto others. All combined, the changes may be great.

Thinking of what I said just back there: on this website, people do see exactly what they are going to get. They are getting time with a person with the same kinds of doubts that they might have. Someone that maybe thinks and talks about their areas of doubt in the same way. I have knowledge in areas that you may not, I have capabilities that you may lack. But I'll bet there is a list that you could write that highlights my shortcomings against your strengths.

Working with me is working together on the things that I know how to work around, how to improve, how to advise on. They are big lifestyle health factors and I've managed to make a lot of them work well for me and for others. It's taken years. Experience, qualifications, mistakes. Life.

I'll pass on anything that I can to you.

You're the person I want to help.

"Me?"

Are you the kind of person that stands to see significant gains from my guidance? The person that may be held back from 80 or 90 percent improvement because you're struggling to form habits in the face of current schedules, lack of motivation or just confusion about what the hell you should be focused on?

If this sounds familiar, then: yes, you.

The tweaks, the 1 or 2 percent for maximal performance? This isn't where my interest lies.

Have a click around the site, have a snigger at how rudimentary it is, if you want. But know that I will do my best to help you improve your health through knowledge and appreciation of food, nutrition and physical activity.
